It’s Gold Pan Week.

Can No. 3 Denver keeps its recent run of success against Colorado College going? The Pioneers will aim to win their fifth consecutive Gold Pan, an accomplishment that would be a record in the now 26 years of the rivalry. Two wins this weekend would clinch that for DU.

MagnessMayhem.com talked about favorite memories of the DU-CC rivalry with coach David Carle and the Pioneers’ three native Coloradoans – senior captain Colin Staub, sophomore Jack Doremus and freshman Jared Resseguie.

We also addressed the Pioneers’ current seven-game winning streak, their longest of the 2018-19 season, and some of the key reasons for it.
