Season preview: Denver’s roster by the numbers

Your average Denver hockey player stands 5-foot-11 and weighs slightly less than 179 pounds, according to a roster study conducted by Magness Mayhem.

The Pioneers also have players from seven different birth years, meaning there is an age range of 18 to 24 within the same roster.

Those are two of the nuggets of information pulled from our drill down on the Pioneers’ roster in advance of Friday night’s regular-season opener at Air Force.
