The freshman center and former Colorado Thunderbird has emerged as the Pioneers’ leading scorer halfway through the season, with 15 points (five goals) in 18 games. And NHL Central Scouting Service has taken note, listing him in its rankings for North American skaters for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Just as he did against Notre Dame last weekend, when he had two goals on his way to being selected the NCHC’s Rookie of the Week, he buried our sweet feeds.

Usually what we eat here. I get salad with ranch, croutons and parmesan cheese. I go back and get pasta with red sauce and ranch, two pieces of chicken with the bone in and a bowl of soup.
When you need a good laugh in the locker room who do you turn to?
Probably Quentin Shore, he’s on my right, and if not him I’ve got Grant Arnold to my left. Those are two funny guys
What piece of gear of yours should Mayhem Jr. not mess with?
Probably my sticks. Those are most important to me.

Is there a song or type of music that fires you up?
It’s not a certain song. I like to listen to a lot of upbeat music to get going a bit.

What is the craziest goal you’ve ever seen?
(Evgeni) Malkin’s this year where he did the spinnerama backhand and went short-side. That was pretty wild. (No kidding, see it here)

I usually get an omelette with green and red peppers, tomato, ham, cheese and salsa on top.
