Trevor Moore is superlative at setting up his teammates, leading the Pioneers in assists this season and climbing into the top five nationally in the category. We figured we’d turn the tables on the California native and send him some sweet set-ups.
Magness Mayhem: What’s your favorite pregame meal?
Trevor Moore: I’m a big chicken and pasta guy. I’ll have some salad.
Are you a fan of game-day naps or not?
No, I usually watch Netflix. I might get 20 minutes, but it’s not mandatory.
Which piece of your gear should we not mess with …
Probably my skates. I’ve got weird feet. I need those to stay how they are because I have really wide feet.
Is there a class clown in the locker room?
Probably (Jarid) Lukosevicius … You never know what he’s going to say. That guy is crazy. He’s an awesome guy but he always brings lively conversation.

Like kale? Or any food I like? I love Flamin Hot Lays (potato chips).
Do you have a favorite hockey player?
Anze Kopitar of the Kings. I play nothing like him. He’s all heart.
If you weren’t playing hockey what would you be doing?
I would be golfing. I’d be making a run at the pro tour for sure.
What is the craziest goal you’ve ever seen?
Can I tell you one I heard about? (Roommate and teammate) Matt VanVoorhis once lost a game for his team in high school when he rimmed a puck around, hit his goalie in the head and the puck went in the net. He’s still not over it.

Tanner Jaillet, for sure.
Are you a music guy?
I like music. I like rap a lot, hip hop and some country.
