A college hockey coach I know well likes to say that sometimes you just need to flush a bad weekend.

This past weekend qualifies for Denver, which saw bitter rival Colorado College snatch the Gold Pan away from it with a 1-0 victory at World Arena on Saturday night.

Next up: the NCHC quarterfinals against North Dakota this coming Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday at Magness Arena. There are several questions to consider – not the least of which is DU’s NCAA prospects, it’s recent dearth of offense and its enviable goaltending situation.
