Let’sGoDU’s Nick Tremaroli took some time recently to discuss Jim Montgomery‘s departure to the NHL’s Dallas Stars with Magness Mayhem, as well as  some of the leading candidates that we know of as of Monday night to replace Montgomery as Denver’s hockey coach.

We took a look at five of the candidates in this story Sunday.

The school has remained tight lipped on the search with players and hockey staff largely being kept out of the loop at this point. It is believed an external candidate was on campus Monday to discuss the job with the administration. Multiple sources have said they believe Denver would like to make a decision on the hire by the end of the week, though that seems subject to several things working out.
